I.N.D.I.A. boycotts Media

I.N.D.I.A Alliance Coordination Committee released a list of mediapersons, whom their representatives will boycott and will avoid to attend debate shows moderated by them.

This is a direct assault on a pillar of democracy, aimed to curb the voice of journalism.Though,there is nothing new in it, they have consistently suppressed the voice that questioned them.

One of such instances is imposition of censorship in emergency when free voice of journalism were silenced that started questioning their anti-democratic practices during Emergency days under the Congress govt led by Indira Gandhi and now they are trying to replicate the same by boycotting a section of mediapersons.

The tagline of I.N.D.I.A alliance says ,"जुडेगा भारत, जीतेगा इंडिया'' but they act contrary to what they say.They have always believed in partisan politics by promoting regionalism and parochialism in India, weakening institutions and their autonomy and now they are targeting journalism as part of their partisan agenda.

They are fearful of questions which enquire about their vision for India, their narrative for development that bind all parties of this mega-alliance together against current regime.

They are visionless without any common agenda for welfare of people. They have a very long history of false promises, corruption and tall claims and this is the reason why they are sidelining the mediapersons so that they are no longer asked to respond to the antecedents.

But, Journalism will not shut its mouth as long as democracy exists,free voice will prevail and truth will find its way.

Journalism stand free and fair in the era of information revolution without becoming mouthpiece of political parties.
