DRAGON'S CARTOGRAPHIC ENCROACHMENT
China is well-known for legacy of economic interests, hoodwinking diplomacy and military agression.
Meanwhile, China's Ministry of Natural Resources released a standard map of China wherein Arunachal Pradesh and Aksai Chin were shown as their territory and they described it as "Regular exercise of Sovereignty" but India looks at it as nothing more than the "Paper Agression ".
They have similar claims on Taiwan and parts of South China Sea too, not only that,as far as SCS disputes are concerned, China constantly violating Permanent Court of Arbitration order.
Though China always bullies neighbours as part of its expansionist policy but it's an attempt to provoke India ahead of G20 Summit as India is going to host it and global attention is there on the takeaways of this coveted summit.
On the other hand, China trying to undermine the significance of this summit by raising irrevelant questions such as objecting the inclusion of the Sanskrit phrase 'Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam' in G20 documents, stating that it is not recognised by the United Nations.
India is a major competitor of China on several fronts like Economy, Diplomacy, Science and Tech and hegemony in Indo-Pacific and African region.
Looking at the global leadership of Narendra Modi and the growing dominance of India in global politics, China's frustration is natural .
India's multi- dimensional foreign policy, right from being a member of QUAD, objecting China's flagship Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) ,exposing China's debt-trap diplomacy that victimized India's neighbours like Sri Lanka and Bangladesh to highlighting China's mere silence on terrorism at international forum and waging proxy war against India by sponsoring Pakistan terror.
These measures have restrained China in confining India as a regional power and thus China look at India as a potential adversary not only at regional level but at global level.
This is the reason why China has dragged the matter of territorial dispute ahead of G20 summit to divert the attention of the the world from the main agenda of this Summit.
But, India is the global spotlight now being the first country to land on the south pole of the moon and also being the host of G20, where top 20 greatest economies will sit together at Indian soil to put forth ideas and vision for the development of the whole world and take one step ahead towards Maha Upanishadic notion of "वसुधैव कुटुंबकम".
